VIAJE A WASHINGTON D.C.

Durante estos dos anos, todos los viajes han sido sumamente interesantes he conocido, he aprendido, he podido distinguir el sistema de vida en los U.S.A.
Una de ellas ha sido el viaje ha Washington que fuimos ultimamente visitamos diferentes lugares algo que veia por televisor o en peliculas como una de ellas La Casa Blanca, El Capitol y algunos museos y organizaciones interesantes.

Para esto tomamos una semana, salimos el 5 de mayo hasta el 11 de mayo.

Este la Casa Blanca que yo tanto deseaba ver personalmente, me senti tanta alegria al estar frente a ella, habia tanta gente a su alrededor obsevando y tomando fotos y yo tambien hacia lo mismo tambien vi que habia alta seguridad y tienen razon porque alli es donde vivi el actual presidente Barack Obama. Tambien descubri alguna historia de ella, ya que esta es la segunda construccion.

No solo fue dias diversion tambien fue dias donde tuvimos que compartir nuestros proyectos con personas de varias instituciones.

MEET TO THE BAMBEGER RANCH

Every day we make some things different, every day we meet with something new and nobody knows how, when, and where.

So, in this occasion we were at the Bamberger Ranch to make specially a work giving hospitality at the students of Central America such as from: Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Panama. Actually they are very young. This took three days in February 2010 and during this time we learned a lot for example how to receive the tourist in any place and give the service. For us, this experience was the first time but I think we did very well. A part of those we met with the owner of Bamberger Ranch. This man really motivated me, for keep my mind to work in our communities in nature place.

Let me talk about the last day at the Bamberger Ranch.
When approached last day we had to prepared specially menu for say good bye to those boys, with the hope of seeing again someday.

MY FIRST COOKING CLASS

In this semester we are going to take cooking class each Monday at St. Phillips College, with the teacher Rey Valdez. Monday, 25th was our first class and for this we had to buy a uniform for look like professional chef.
Well, just we took one class. I'll tell more after I take the next classes.....!!!

Parade in honor Martin Luther King

It was 19th Junaury where everyone in United State remembered this man. He was a very important person. He fought for civil rights of the black and latin people.

Born in January 15, 1929

Death -April 4, 1968)

During his live he was Pastor, Civil Rights Leader, Nobel Peace Prize recipient, President of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), author.

My Christmas & New Year

Now I want to talk about my fun Christmas and New Year, so this was amazing because I had visited some places. Actually I met with friends and I will never forget them. I hope to meet them again someday....

Here in United State is something different than our countries of south america. I had been last year here U.S.A. Many things are different also in this country have specials holidays and we had to participate in those activities.

Theater San Antonio Tx.

I went to a theater. I like theater and never in my life had been in a theater. This was my first time. To be honest, I really liked and also I enjoyed the performace. It was about Evita who lived in Argintina. She had been a very important person around of the 1944. Her husband had been presedent in those days, so she had many problems by opposed people but she faced all problems. Moreover had others adults and children that wanted to help her.

Finally she died by an illness.

Then so was the story of Evita

MY BEST PLACE - HOUSTON

We went to Houston to one of the most famous place in Unite States. The trip was from oct. 9th to 12th, 2009 we left friday in the morning, so the first stop was in Houston Science Museum. In this place had different kinds exibitions for example: culture, nature and animals but more intristing was chinese culture because they have original statue. Also we went to many places into the Houston city.

In this picture you can see like jungle but it isn't in jungle it is inside the building, for me this was amazing place because there are different kinds butterflies flying around the poeple even the butterflies landing on the people is seem nature places.

This other picture is about Asia culture history. It says that those were find originally in Asia many years ago but now they are showing in Houston Museum those pieces.

Those pieces are ten thousand and represent chinese soldiers. Also each face looks different the history says that the chief sent to make those soldiers he thought will get used after death.

All this promoted chinese man he want to show how they lived in that age.

Next day oct. 11th on saturday we went to a place very interesting at the Nasa from where the man zoomed up to the moon and from where was the first time the man went to the moon.

We stayed at a small hotel, it was nice and the owner was really kind.
